Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the website https://veronicacollection.com uses, and how you can give, change or withdraw your consent to them.

Last updated: 2026-06-21

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files saved on the user's device (computer, phone, tablet) while browsing the website. They allow the device to be recognised on later visits, remember the choices you have made, and ensure the website works correctly and securely.

Similar technologies include, among others, the browser's local storage (localStorage). The website uses such storage to save your decision regarding cookie consent under the key "vc-consent".

Some cookies are set directly by our website (first-party cookies), while others may come from third-party providers whose tools are embedded in the page (third-party cookies).

Cookies may be:

  • session cookies — stored temporarily and deleted when the browser is closed,
  • persistent cookies — remaining on the device for a set period or until the user deletes them.

Consent to cookies (Google Consent Mode v2)

Cookies and technologies that are necessary for the website to operate are used without your consent, because the site could not function correctly without them. All other technologies, in particular analytical ones, are activated ONLY after you have given your consent.

For this purpose the website uses the Google Consent Mode v2 mechanism. The default consent state for storing data for analytical and advertising purposes is set to "denied". This means that, until consent is given, the analytical tools (Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager) are not active.

On your first visit we display a consent banner in which you can accept or reject analytical cookies. Only acceptance changes the consent state to "granted" and triggers the loading of the analytical tools.

We save your choice in the browser's local storage under the key "vc-consent" (value "granted" or "denied") in order to remember it on later visits and not ask again. This value does not contain any data allowing a person to be identified.

Types of cookies used

The website uses two categories of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Necessary — required for the website to operate correctly and securely. We use them regardless of consent. They include, among others: storing your consent choice (local storage under the key "vc-consent") and the hCaptcha mechanism, which protects the request-for-quote (RFQ) and contact form against spam and abuse (bots).
  • Analytical — they help us understand how users use the website and create anonymous visit statistics. We implement them using Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Analytical cookies are activated ONLY after you have given your consent.

The website does NOT use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not carry out marketing or operate a newsletter, we do not build advertising profiles and we do not share data for marketing purposes.

Overview of providers and purposes

Below is an overview of the technologies used, together with the provider, purpose and nature of each:

  • Consent cookie / entry ("vc-consent") — provider: Veronica Collection (first-party cookie / local storage); purpose: remembering your decision regarding cookie consent; nature: necessary.
  • hCaptcha — provider: Intuition Machines, Inc. (USA); purpose: protecting the RFQ and contact form against spam and abuse (bots); nature: necessary.
  • Google Fonts — provider: Google (USA); purpose: correct display of the website's typography (fonts); nature: necessary. Loading fonts from Google Fonts involves transmitting the visitor's IP address to Google.
  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager — provider: Google (USA); purpose: statistics and analysis of how the website is used; nature: analytical, activated only after consent is given.

Third-party providers and transfers outside the EEA

Some of the tools used belong to third-party providers established in the United States. As a result of their use, data (including the IP address) may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA):

  • hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc., USA) — protecting forms against abuse,
  • Google Fonts, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google, USA) — typography and statistics after consent is given.

The transfer of data to the USA takes place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission or under the Data Privacy Framework. These mechanisms are intended to ensure an adequate level of protection for the transferred data.

More information about the processing of personal data, the legal bases and your rights can be found in the Privacy Policy (/polityka-prywatnosci).

How to withdraw or change your consent

You may withdraw or change your consent to analytical cookies at any time — without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

You can do this in two ways:

  • On the website — by reopening the cookie settings using the relevant link in the site footer and making your choice again (accept or reject). The new choice is saved under the key "vc-consent" and applied immediately.
  • In your browser — by using your browser settings, which let you view, block and delete cookies and local storage data. Deleting the "vc-consent" entry will cause the consent banner to appear again on your next visit.

Limiting or blocking necessary files may affect the correct operation of some website functions, including the request-for-quote and contact form.

Changes to the Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated from time to time, in particular in the event of changes to the technologies used, to providers, or to applicable law.

The current version of the Cookie Policy is always available on the website at /polityka-cookies. We encourage you to review it on your subsequent visits.

For matters relating to cookies and the protection of personal data, you may contact us at the e-mail address: biuro@veronicacollection.com. The rules for processing data are described in the Privacy Policy (/polityka-prywatnosci), and the rules for using the website in the Terms and Conditions (/regulamin).
