Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set out the rules for using the website, which is a multilingual B2B catalog of fabrics and knits and allows contact and the submission of requests for quotation. The website does not conduct online sales.

1. General provisions and definitions

These Terms of Use set out the rules for the provision of electronic services through the website available at https://veronicacollection.com, in accordance with the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means.

The Service Provider is:

The terms used in these Terms of Use mean:

  • Service Provider — the company indicated above, providing services by electronic means through the Website.
  • Website — the website available at https://veronicacollection.com together with its subpages.
  • User — a natural person, legal person or organizational unit using the Website, in particular an entrepreneur acting in professional dealings (B2B).
  • Catalog — the information about fabrics and knits offered by the Service Provider that is presented on the Website.
  • Request for Quotation (RFQ) — a message sent by the User through the form in order to obtain commercial information or an offer.

Use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the provisions of these Terms of Use.

2. Type and scope of services

The Service Provider provides the following services by electronic means:

  • making the content of the Website available to the User, including browsing the multilingual B2B Catalog of fabrics and knits;
  • enabling the submission of requests for quotation (RFQ) and contact with the Service Provider through the form available on the Website.

These services are provided free of charge.

The Website is of an exclusively informational and catalog nature. The Service Provider EXPRESSLY states that the Website does NOT conduct online sales — there is no shopping cart on the Website, no payments are processed and no sales contracts are concluded through the website. Submitting a request for quotation is neither an order nor the conclusion of a contract.

All commercial arrangements, including prices, availability, delivery terms and the conclusion of any sales contract, take place outside the Website, through separate arrangements between the Service Provider and the interested party.

3. Technical requirements

Proper use of the Website requires meeting the following technical requirements:

  • a device (computer, tablet or phone) with an up-to-date web browser;
  • access to the Internet;
  • JavaScript enabled in the browser;
  • cookies enabled — necessary for the full functionality of the Website.

The Service Provider makes efforts to keep the Website continuously available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and reserves the right to temporary interruptions, in particular for maintenance, updates or for technical reasons.

4. Nature of catalog information

The information presented in the Catalog, including descriptions, parameters, prices and the presentation of the colors of fabrics and knits, is of an exclusively illustrative and informational nature.

Due to the specifics of display on various devices and the properties of materials, the colors and patterns presented on the Website may differ from the actual appearance of the products. The presentation of colors does not constitute a binding representation.

The information contained on the Website does not constitute an offer within the meaning of Article 66 et seq. of the Act of 23 April 1964 — the Civil Code, but constitutes an invitation to conclude a contract (an invitation to submit offers) within the meaning of Article 71 of the Civil Code.

5. Submitting requests for quotation (RFQ) and contact

The User may contact the Service Provider and submit a request for quotation (RFQ) through the form available on the Website. The form collects the following data: first and last name, company name, e-mail address, telephone, country and the content of the message.

In order to send a message, it is necessary to provide the data marked as required and to pass anti-spam verification using the hCaptcha mechanism.

The User is obliged to provide true and lawful data and not to supply content of an unlawful nature.

Submitting a request for quotation is non-binding and does not constitute an order or the conclusion of a contract. The Service Provider will make efforts to respond to the inquiry received, but does not guarantee a reply or the conclusion of any contract.

The rules for processing personal data provided in the form are described in the Privacy Policy (/polityka-prywatnosci).

6. Intellectual property rights

All content posted on the Website, in particular texts, photographs, graphics, the layout and composition of the pages, as well as trademarks and trade names, are the property of the Service Provider or authorized entities and are subject to legal protection, in particular under the provisions on copyright and related rights and on industrial property law.

Use of the Website's content is permitted only to the extent of personal use connected with reviewing the Service Provider's offering.

It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or use the content of the Website in whole or in part, in any way and for any purpose, without the prior written consent of the Service Provider or another authorized entity.

7. Liability

The Website is of an informational nature. The Service Provider makes efforts to ensure that the information presented on the Website is current and reliable, but does not guarantee its completeness or currency and reserves the right to change it at any time.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider is not liable for:

  • decisions made by the User on the basis of information posted on the Website;
  • damage resulting from the use or inability to use the Website, including interruptions in its operation;
  • the effects of force majeure and circumstances beyond the Service Provider's control;
  • the content of external websites to which any links posted on the Website refer.

The provisions of this section do not exclude or limit the Service Provider's liability to the extent that such exclusion or limitation is impermissible under mandatory provisions of law.

8. Complaints regarding the functioning of the website

The User may submit complaints regarding the functioning of the Website and the services provided by electronic means to the e-mail address: biuro@veronicacollection.com.

The complaint should contain at least the data enabling contact with the User and a description of the reported reservations.

The Service Provider will consider the complaint and provide a response within 14 days of its receipt, to the e-mail address indicated in the submission or in another agreed manner. If it is not possible to consider the complaint within this period, the Service Provider will inform the User of the reason for the delay and the expected date of consideration.

9. Personal data

The controller of Users' personal data is the Service Provider.

Detailed information on the processing of personal data, including the purposes, legal bases, retention periods, data recipients and the rights of data subjects, is set out in the Privacy Policy available at /polityka-prywatnosci.

Information on cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie Policy available at /polityka-cookies.

10. Final provisions

The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use for important reasons, in particular in the event of changes in the law, changes in the scope or manner of providing services, or technical changes to the Website. The current version of the Terms of Use is each time available on the Website at /regulamin and is effective from the moment of its publication.

In matters not regulated by these Terms of Use, the provisions of Polish law apply, in particular the Act on the provision of services by electronic means and the Civil Code.

The law applicable to these Terms of Use is Polish law. Any disputes arising from the use of the Website will be resolved by the court having local jurisdiction over the Service Provider's registered office. The above stipulation on jurisdiction does not apply where mandatory provisions of law provide for different jurisdiction.

These Terms of Use are effective from the date of their publication on the Website.
