Boucle is a heavyweight 320 gsm fabric in a textured boucle weave, blending 55% polyester, 35% wool and 10% nylon for warmth, body and abrasion resistance. Its defining looped, knotted surface gives a rich tactile texture, while the construction is opaque, non-stretch and firmly structured, holding crisp tailored shapes without sagging. At this weight it is excellent for jackets, coats and statement office and tailoring pieces, as well as elevated apparel that benefits from a couture-style texture.
