Eco Leather (EkoSkóra) is a PU-coated knit at a substantial 420 gsm, combining a 60% polyurethane surface with a 40% polyester knit backing to deliver a vegan, animal-free alternative to leather. The face can be supplied smooth or textured, while the knit base lends a controlled 2-way give (around 5% warp / 15% weft) that eases sewing and wear without the rigidity of bonded leathers; the body is firmly structured and fully opaque with minimal shrinkage of 2% or less. It is built for casual apparel and accessories — jackets, skirts, trims, bags and similar pieces — where a leather look and feel are wanted at a workable, consistent price point. Practical for both maker and end customer, it is wipe-clean only (no wash, no iron, no tumble), so durability and easy maintenance are core selling points. At 140 cm width and dependable dimensional stability, it offers a reliable, repeatable base for collections that need a credible leather alternative at volume.
