Lame

Lama is a plain-woven metallic fabric (lame) combining 70% polyester with 30% metallic yarn for a sparkling, high-impact surface. At 160 g/m2 on a 145 cm width it is a mid-light cloth with no stretch, relying on a fluid drape that lets the metallic ground catch and reflect light dramatically. Its opaque, lustrous character makes it purpose-built for eveningwear and statement apparel such as gowns, party dresses, and standout accents. Because of the metallic component, gentle care is important: machine wash at 30 degrees, no bleach, cool iron, and dry flat. As a consistent poly-metallic lame, Lama offers eye-catching shine with reliable surface uniformity across a roll, supporting cohesive results in occasion and evening collections.
