Satin

Satin is a lustrous 100% polyester cloth woven in a satin structure, light at 130 gsm on a 150 cm width, with the long floats that give it its characteristic sheen on the face and a soft matte reverse. It has a silky hand and a genuinely fluid drape with no stretch, falling in clean liquid folds and reflecting light beautifully, while reading as semi-opaque so colour stays rich. This makes it a staple for eveningwear, occasion and apparel, and for decorative drapery and styling. It is print-ready, takes vivid colour, and is easy-care (30C wash, low iron, dry flat) with low shrinkage (under 3%). Offered across multiple representative makes and one of the deepest colour libraries in the range, it is a versatile, well-stocked base ready for both stock orders and custom-printed development.
