Silk in Black.

Silk is a 100% polyester silk-imitation fabric in a fine plain weave, very light at 80 gsm on a 150 cm width, engineered to echo the look and movement of real silk. It has no stretch but a fluid, weightless drape and a subtle sheen, falling in soft cascading folds with a smooth hand and a semi-opaque finish that keeps colour luminous. This makes it well suited to eveningwear, blouses, linings, scarves and lingerie where flow and a refined surface are wanted, at a far more practical price point than natural silk. It is print-ready and renders sharp, vivid prints, and it is easy-care (30C wash, low iron, dry flat) with low shrinkage (under 3%). Carried in a focused representative colour set, it offers buyers an accessible, drapeable silk-look base ready for print development and made-to-order work.
