Chiffon

Chiffon (szyfon) is a 100% polyester plain-weave sheer, built at a feather-light 60 g/m² on a 150 cm width, with a transparent ground and the airy, fluid drape that defines the cloth. With no mechanical stretch, it relies entirely on its open weave for movement, falling in soft ripples and floating columns rather than holding structure. It is well suited to eveningwear and fluid apparel — overlays, gathered skirts, blouses, scarves, and lingerie accents — wherever lightness and translucency are the design goal, and it is print-ready for all-over and placement patterns. Care is gentle but practical: machine wash at 30°C, no bleach, low iron, dry flat, with shrinkage held to ≤3%. Produced in China and offered as a dependable sheer base, it gives buyers a versatile, print-friendly ground for layered and occasion pieces.
