About this fabric

Velour is a plush 280 gsm knit pile in 92% polyester and 8% elastane, with a dense cut-pile face that gives a soft, tactile hand and a quiet directional sheen. The knit base delivers a generous four-way stretch (around 30% warp and 50% weft) and a soft, body-skimming drape while staying fully opaque. That makes it a versatile choice for eveningwear, dancewear and stage costume, fitted casual separates, loungewear and lingerie, as well as soft furnishing accents. Supplied at 150 cm width and machine washable at 30C, it is one of the deepest colour ranges in the catalogue, with plain, printed, foil and sequin-ground variants for broad collection coverage.
